Unter einer Fanfare versteht man ein Musikstück für Trompeten, Hörner, Tuben und Pauken. Dieses wird vornehmlich für Blechblasinstrumente verfasst, bei denen auf Naturtöne und Dreiklangsmotivik Bedacht genommen wird.
